AUGUSTA – On Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, heaven received another angel. Olive J. Edwards, 77, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Augusta on Sept. 11, 1943, a daughter of the late Elden G. and Margaret M. (Halpin) Jerolmon.
She was a graduate of Cony High School, Central Maine Beauty School and was a communicant of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. She was a self-employed hairdresser, working from her home for many years. She later worked at her families’ convenience store, Jeff’s Market, alongside her dear friends and family. She was a member of the Riverside Women’s Club for nearly 40 years, where she made many life-long friends. ....
