The RMWB Sees One New COVID-19 Case, One Recovery

The province announced on Sunday 461 new cases across Alberta. There are currently 7,505 active cases across Alberta, while there have been a total of 124,208 positive tests. There are also 561 Albertans in the hospital for the virus, 101 of which are in ICUs. Locally, Fort McMurray added one new case and one additional recovery which keeps the active total at 91.

Katelyn, who asked for her last name to be left out, is a registered nurse in the ER department at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre. Her entire team is among the over 65,000 in the province to receive the first of their two shots. She tells Mix News she felt a big sense of relief after months of waiting for the vaccine.
