After years in the planning and work, the Columbus Area Children s Museum opened to the public on Feb. 22, with its first batch of kids pouring in from area schools.
In light of the Platte County Board of Supervisors proclamation on Feb. 13 of February as Nebraska 4-H month, several 4-Hers weighed in at the meeting.
The Columbus Area Children s Museum allowed visitors on Dec. 15 to see the progress mere weeks before they open to members on Jan. 17 and the general public in February.
As part of a 4-H Gives Back public service project, Lillian Hudnall has made 13 quilts for veterans and a Quilts of Valor presentation will be held July 9.
