In filing House Bill 7064, Senior Citizens Party-list Rep. Rodolfo Ordanes said while the government has already increased the financial benefits and privileges of senior citizens through the expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010 and the law increasing the social pension of indigent senior citizens, the majority of these financial benefits are just consumed by senior citizens for the purchase of maintenance medicines. (Photo grabbed from PRO-13 FB Page) BUTUAN CITY - The Police Regional Office in Caraga (PRO-13) has meted sanctions on a total of 81 administrative complaints against its personnel between January 1, 2021 and February 10 this year. Of the total complaints, 44 have already been decided, with each respondent receiving corresponding penalties. In a statement Wednesday, Brig. Gen. Romeo Caramat Jr., PRO-13 director, said that of the 44 respondents, 13 have already been suspended, 10 dismissed from the service, three were demoted, 14 were reprimanded, three were meted with forfeitures of their salaries, and one was restricted to specified limits. "A total of 32 personnel complained were also exonerated after due consideration of their cases," Caramat said. He added that of the 81 complaints, five are still pending at the Committee on Disposition of Administrative Cases in PRO-13.
