Belarusian farmers have successfully passed their trials by growing and collecting enough grain to ensure food security and successful development of the animal husbandry industry.
Ostrovets District has cleared 19% of areas, with the yields averaging 224 centers of corn silage per hectare. The highest yields are in Shchuchin District – 418 centners per hectare.
Primemilk's main line of business is whey-fat concentrates, or plant-based milk and cream substitutes. The company has also branched out into the production of soft cheeses.
Roman Golovchenko remarked: “The situation varies. In some places these processes proceed more actively. In some other places we have to give them a nudge from above. These things also happen. We don't hide them. But certainly, a majority of the districts approach this task responsibly.”
