CONEJOS COUNTY, Colo. â A second set of human remains has been identified from a property in the San Luis Valley, about three weeks after the first set was identified.
On Nov. 10, investigators found human remains as they conducted a search warrant in a rural location in the county near the town of Las Sauces. The remains included at least three people. ....

CONEJOS COUNTY, Colo. A second person whose remains were found on a Conejos County property in November has been identified as a woman who was last seen in October, according to an update from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
A forensic odontologist assisting task force investigators used dental records to identify the recovered remains as Shayla Jenna Hammel, who was in her mid-30s.
The Saguache woman was reported missing to the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) on Nov. 26. At that time, a family member reported they had not had any contact with Hammel since late October. ....

CONEJOS COUNTY, Colo. â A second set of human remains has been identified from a property in the San Luis Valley, about three of weeks after the first set was identified.
On Nov. 10, investigators found human remains as they conducted a search warrant in a rural location in the county near the town of Las Sauces. The remains included at least three people. After the discovery, authorities announced they were searching for a suspect named Adre Jordan Baroz, 26, who was well-known in the area by the nickname Psycho. He was taken into custody on Nov. 19 in New Mexico. ....

CBI identifies second set of human remains found in San Luis Valley

Authorities have identified the second of three sets of remains found in San Luis Valley last month, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation announced Tuesday.
Shayla Jenna Hammel, of Saguache, was identified with the help of a forensic odontologist, CBI said. A family member reported the 34-year-old missing to the Saguache County Sheriff s Office on Nov. 26 after she was last seen in late October.
Authorities said they do not know how Hammel died, but believe foul play was involved. Further information surrounding the circumstances of her death were not released.
Earlier this month, investigators identified another set of remains, found on the same Conejos County property, as 38-year-old Myron Robert Martinez, according to CBI. Authorities continue to work to identify the third set of remains found on the property. ....
