Posturing . What is your position on state control or management of federal lands in idaho . Well, jim, there has been a lot of talk about it. This is nothing new. We were around during the rebellion. The constitution says every state will be admitted on equal footing and it turns out that some states are more equal than others. My colleagues back east cant even concede when i say two out of three acres are owned by the federal government. Discussions are all well and good. This congress as made up is not going to cut loose of the federal land. Does that mean we cant do anything . Absolutely not. Let me give an example. My rule that took over essentially or dictated the management of the 9. 2 million acres of roadless created a state committee as you know that actually oversees this. And this is idahoens.
