Shaun Eldred A DANGEROUS driver who hit speeds of 90mph on Bolton roads was caught after he crashed into parked cars. Shaun Eldred was spotted by police using a mobile phone while driving his girlfriend s Vauxhall Corsa on Bury Road, Bolton. But after initially stopping for officers, the 37-year-old, who was banned from holding a driving licence, sped off. Bolton Crown Court heard how, during a pursuit, he hurtled through four sets of red traffic lights, drove on the wrong side of the road and reached 90mph on roads which had 30mph limits. The chase finally ended when Eldred hit three parked cars in Heaton and was arrested as he tried to run off. ....
