(ABC 6 News) - The pandemic is keeping Valentine’s Day gift exchanges from happening this year in places like schools and care centers.
At Our House Senior Living in Austin where visitor restrictions are still in place, they’re getting creative to keep the love flowing throughout the facility.
“We’re trying to get everybody to still come together when we can’t actually physically be together,” said Life Enrichment Coordinator Baillie Klingfus.
As Valentine’s Day approaches, the care center is asking friends and family leave valentines inside specially decorated mailboxes at care center. The public is also welcome to drop off cards and letters to be distributed. ....
