KINGSTON, Jamaica - Wayne Pinnock of the University of Arkansas and Ackelia Smith of the University of Texas won their first indoor long jump championships at the South-Eastern Conference (SEC) and Big12 indoor championships respectively on Friday. Jamaicans Roschell Clayton of the University of Villanova and Ockera Myrie of Clemson University were in record-breaking mode over the weekend as the US Collegiate indoor track and field schedule restarted. Clayton equalled Villanova’s women’s indoor high jump program record when she cleared a personal best of 1.84m at the Penn Select 10 meet held in Staten Island, New York.
