Goldhagen, medical director for the Partnership for Child Health and chief of the Division of Community and Societal Pediatrics at the UF College of Medicine in Jacksonville, was recognized for his work to support mental well-being services. The city of Orlando and four Central Florida counties are getting a total of more than $20 million in federal stimulus money to battle homelessness, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced Thursday. The funds should help boost construction and rehabilitation of badly-needed affordable housing in the region and potentially offer a safety net for renters with nowhere to go when a federal eviction moratorium expires at the end of June. ....
