Drew smith is working the story tonight. Reporter chesters mayor and police chief are condemning the violence and offering a reward for information. Its little comfort to this family torn apart. The scariest moment of my life. Reporter this woman couldnt hold back tears as she remembered hiding under her dashboard as bullets began flying on pine lane in chester last night. I got shot in my shoulder for something i dont know. Reporter just out of the hospital, she has a bullet under her skin. Her eye is scratched from the broken glass. Someone fired dozens of bullets at adults sitting in a car. The shots hit shiply and two of her teenage relatives. You knew there was kids out there. No remorse, no nothing. They didnt care. Reporter this photo shows the 14yearold dressed up for his formal two days ago. On the left is his 16yearold cousin. Doctors are treating powell for serious injuries. The other young man died last night. Their aunt spoke with us. Im hurting right now. It hurts so bad.

The family says the teens were going to the corner store last night on pine lane and it was around 8 00 when police said dozens of bullets began flying this and the intended targets were believed to be adults sitting in the car and the boys were also hit asand so was janee shipley . They didnt have remorse and they didnt stop shooting and i got underneath the depth or i wouldnt be alive today. They shot, shot, shot, shot. It sounded like they even loaded back up or something. Whoever did that because i know my baby did not deserve that. He was a good boy. He was only 14 years old and my other nephew was only 16. Please just turn yourselves in. And tonight his family is sharing their pain. Police say zenas powell was not the gunmans target. He was on his way to his grandmothers house after buying food at the story. Sunday night, the big story on action news, the search for the gunman who shot the teenager. He was one of three people caught in the hail of gunfire. Tonight we spoke with one of the victims surviving the hail of gunfire. Sharing her fear and anger about the events that unfolded last night. And jeff chirico joins us live from Police Headquarters with more. Jeff . Walter and sarah, zenas powell was just an innocent bystander. His family says he was respectful and dreamed of becoming a doctor. However, last night his dream was cut short in what chesters mayor calls a senseless act of violence that will not be follow rated.
