we begin with breaking news this noon.a federal appeals court issues a ruling once again impacting the state s voter i-d law.a decision from the seventh circuit court of appeals means voters will again be required to show a photo i-d at the polls in the upcoming november election.the law has been subject to a see- saw set of rulings since it month,- a federal judge blocked part of the law effectively killing the provision that would require a voter to show i-d . but today s ruling reverses the situation again. so.unless there s another ruling between now and november 8th.voters will be required show an i-d at the polls on election day. with the primary in the rear view .the stage is set for the november general election. house speaker paul ryan ?easily defeated? his challeng percent of the vote. vote.after the race was called.the janesville republican talked about his agenda moving forward. ryan also talked about some of the ?attacks? paul nehlen launched. ryan said. whe
employee we spoke to earlier today says everyone was evacuated from the building safely.that same employee was able to leave, and brought water to his colleagues. when we got the all clear from the facilities supervisor if your car was parked in an area that wouldn t interfere with the firefighting process you could leave there were many people that couldn t so i went down the road to get some water for the people that had to stay in a nice hot parking l lot. we also spoke to a business who says authorities told them no one could leave the building or a period of time. they didn t want them breathing or inhaling what was outside.they also rerouted their a/c system to recirculate air in the building . so it wouldn t bring any air from the outside in. i ve been told they re a little short staffed on this fire. but we re expecting a briefing from the franklin fire chief any moment.we ll bring that information to you as we receive it.and we ll be back here live on cbs 58 news
