7月18日下午，鹏欣集团、鹏都农牧(002505.SZ)万牛进场及开场仪式隆重举行。鹏都农牧从国外引入的10581头优质海福特种母牛从乌拉圭蒙特维迪亚港口出发，经过40余天的海上运输和45天的隔离检疫，顺利抵达昆明寻甸凤合示范牧场。
早在2020年，云南省政府相关部门和州市政府就与鹏都农牧控股股东上海鹏欣集团在昆明签署打造千亿级肉牛产业合作协议，以“打造中国肉牛产业航母，创建国际农业经典品牌”为使命，利用鹏欣集团控股子公司鹏都农牧自身海外牛源进口优势，引进海外优良肉牛种群，通过“企业+合作社+基地+农户”的联动方式，在云南昆明、德宏、临沧、保山、普洱等地进行产业布局。计划通过五年左右的时间，从海外引进优质能繁母牛，进行本地化育种、扩繁，形成230万头的存栏规模。
