JOHOR BAHRU: An Orang Asli man was missing while catching mud crabs at Sungai Boh mangrove swamp in Gelang Patah, Iskandar Puteri, yesterday. Iskandar Puteri Fire and Rescue Station operations commander Shamsul Khomari Bakar said the man, Wangti Nad, in his 40s, hailed from Kampung Orang Asli Simpang Arang. He said Wangti was reported to have left the house to catch mud crabs at the mangrove swamp at 7 am yesterday and had not returned since. “According to his wife, he normally returned home at 2 pm, but when he did not turn up yesterday, she sought help from the villagers to locate her husband, only to find his boat at the location,” he said in a statement here, today. ....
