KARACHI: A Filipino woman was found murdered in Clifton on Wednesday, police said.
Area SHO Pir Shabbir Haider said that the body of 32-year-old Sheela was found inside a flat in Upper Gizri by another Filipino woman, who lived in a flat in the same building.
She told police that the victim had been living alone for the past seven months and was a cardiac patient.
The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), where doctors told investigators that she was strangled to death as they found bruises and broken shoulder bones.
The SHO said that she was married but reportedly got separated from her husband recently. She was associated with a private firm which provides foreign women as domestic help in the metropolis. ....
