Construction of brick-built houses for homeless being built in Palashbari

GAIBANDHA, Dec 15, 2020, (BSS) – Construction works of brick-built houses with having sheds by corrugated iron (CI) sheets are being built for homeless people in Palashbari upazila of the district.
Upazila administration is implementing the works under the Ashrayan Project-2 taken by Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Each of the houses is being built at the cost of one lakh and 71 thousands Taka, said an official.
On Monday, deputy commissioner (DC) Abdul Matin visited the under construction houses at Chandipur village under Mohdipur union of the upazila.
During the visit, Abdul Matin told reporters that the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina took initiative to provide houses to all homeless people of the country marking the Mujib Year. ....
