Frontline is now in possession of official documents that underscore the point that the whereabouts of the Pulwama attack’s key conspirator, Mudasir Ahmed Khan, and his nefarious intent to launch a fidayeen strike were known to intelligence agencies.

Frontline has revealed that a series of intelligence inputs shared with authorities responsible for maintaining internal security, including the Jammu and Kashmir Police, between January 2, 2019 and February 13, 2019 “were not acted upon or at least not acted upon successfully”, resulting in the killing of 44 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldiers. ....

A series of intelligence inputs were shared with concerned authorities in the week leading to the Pulwama terror attack on February 14, 2019, that claimed the lives of 40 personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy, reveals an investigation by the
Frontline magazine.
According to the report, between January 2, 2019, to February 13, 2019, a number of intelligence inputs were shared with the authorities, warning of a Fidayeen strike as a part of the Jaish-e-Mohammad’s (JeM) “Qisas mission”. ....

A year-long investigation by ‘Frontline’ reveals that between January 2 and February 13, 2019, a series of intelligence inputs were shared with various authorities responsible for maintaining internal security, all pointing to an impending fidayeen strike as part of the Jaish-e-Mohammad’s “Qisas mission”. At least two inputs carried details of the terror module led by Mudasir Ahmed Khan, which eventually carried out the Pulwama attack on February 14, 2019. ....
