The arrangements for the D-day for counting of over 89.21 lakh votes that will begin at 8 am across the seven constituencies of Delhi have been notched up with the authorities deploying a three-tier security arrangement at the counting centres.
The officials of Chief Electoral Office of Delhi said
Due to a training programme for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections at Delhi Technological University (DTU) in Shahbad Daulatpur on May 16 and 17, the Delhi Traffic Police have imposed traffic restrictions in the area from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on both days. Commuters are advised to plan their routes in advance and follow alternative routes to ensure a smooth journey.
The Delhi Police on Wednesday said there will be some traffic restrictions for two days on Thursday and Friday near the Delhi Technological University (DTU) as a training programme will be held in connection with the Lok Sabha elections.
