Kneeling in solidarity: Racial Justice Falmouth holds vigil for Black Lives Matter


FALMOUTH The bell tolled as about 40 people knelt down in memory of the death of George Floyd and others lost to police violence Wednesday evening. 
“It is a sign of solidarity and a sign that we are committed to do the work,” said Rev. Nell Fields of Waquoit Congregational Church. 
Racial Justice Falmouth joined with members of the community in a vigil to share thoughts and ideas on the continuing struggle for justice, both in town and across the country. 
The Black Lives Matter on the Village Green was organized following former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin s guilty verdict on murder charges in Floyd s death. ....
