and it s chilly, fall-like. and beautiful. yesterday afternoon was nice. a little breezy but the sun broke through. and for the time being, we have broken that chain of that tropical moisture that was streaming up not only thursday when we got the bulk of the rain, but it was plaguing us kind of off and on again since last weekend. so we re done with it for a while. for a while. over the atlantic ocean. but for the motion, we ll take it easy and watch much smaller, more conventional storm system off to our northwest. this will be something that will play in our weather by the end of the weekend and also will be a contributor in dragging some of that tropical moisture back into the area. but we re in a break right now. we see rain shower activity over the great lakes and parts of iowa and scream northeast stream northeast missouri. that s something we ll watch later today and probably overnight. tomorrow nice day today. we ll talk about nit detail. our big story this
