(John Weiss / [email protected]) FRONTENAC On Sunday, the morning low was around minus 10, the high would be 20 degrees 10 degrees below normal; with a breeze flowing down Lake Pepin, it felt closer to 10 degrees. In the open, ice formed quickly on fishing rod guides or the line. But look at it this way, the day was the warmest in more than two weeks, a time of crushing cold with the average daily temperature a staggering 27 degrees below normal. ....
