Well this complaint comes days just after a new law passed in california that bill extends the statute of limitations in sexual abuse cases giving victims up to the age of 40 years old to file a lawsuit. The previous limit was 26 years old. That law took effect january 1st. So that might be why were just hearing about this case now.
