為紓緩公立醫院人手荒，醫管局大會昨日通過延長前線醫護人員退休年齡至65歲，即時生效，並增設副顧問護師職級，挽留護士人手。局方預計未來五年會有1650名醫護、專業員工及4000名支援員工延任；未來十年增設職位涉及逾59億元額外開支。食物及衞生局歡迎醫管局推行挽留人手措施。
