Well, today is still looking pretty smoky. Unhealthy air quality continues as we take a look outside in walnut creek even during the night hours we can see how smoky it is. Were starting out this morning temperatures in the upper 50s and also staying cool because of the thick layer of smoke we have. As we go into today, though, we are going to see temperatures reaching into the upper 70s for the south bay, some low to mid80s for much of the inland east bay, and our north bay high temperatures will reach into the upper 80s for ukiah and clear lake with some low 80s for santa rosa. Promises of cleaner air. Were surrounded by smoke on all four sides. And it is hard even when the wind shifts to get cleaner air in here. So here is a look at the visibility, 2 to 3 miles this morning. And this is the way it looks at san jose and you see it lingering in the air. And the winds are a little faster, at least around 7 to 8 miles per hour, but fairfield at 22, that is the increase in the seabreeze that will bring places that are close to the Golden Gate Bridge and delta some relief this afternoon while the rest of us will have to wait until tomorrow. 60s, 70s and 80s for highs the rest of the accuweather seven be day forecast coming up. Reporter intense flames burning through dry brush in the hills above saint helena ploeks edding in size overnight. This is the hennessy fire, one of three big fires burning in napa county likely caused by lightening strikes. Were all packed out and ready to head out of here. Reporter workers were hosing down roofs at the Treatment Plant near lake hennessy. It looks like the winds have picked up which is never a good thing beingw. Thats not a good thing either. Reporter neighbors say this home was destroyed by fire. The Family Living here had evacuated. Almost 2,000 homes remain under threat. Firefighters scored a huge victory today.
