The counties includalameda, contra costa, marin, San Francisco, san mateo, and santa clara counties. Many schools were scheduled to return possibly next month. The number of covid19 cases continues to rise across the u. S. There are now more than 60,000 confirmed cases in the nation. Right here in california there are more than 2,600 cases. At least 58 people have died. There are more than a 1,000 cases specifically in the bay area. And the death toll continues to rise. Lets take a look at the outbreak county by county. San mateo county reported four more deaths just this morning. It has 160 confirmed cases. San francisco reported its first death last night. It now has 151 cases. Santa clara county has 359 cases. 16 people have died in that county. Alameda county, 133 cases and there are 86 cases in contra costa county. 53 in marin county. And 34 cases in sonoma county.
