ESSEX — Precinct 11 of the Baltimore County Police Department is hosting a collection drive to benefit the Family Crisis Center, an organization which supports survivors of domestic violence, as part of the department’s National Crime Victims’ Week activities.
The precinct has collaborated with the Family Crisis Center in the past, according to Officer Michael Lewis, one of the central organizers of the drive.
“It’s just the right thing to do,” Lewis said. “We’re just trying to support these families.”
The precinct is seeking personal hygiene items such as shampoo, deodorant, soap, combs and brushes, diapers, pull ups, socks, bath towels, infant formula, baby food, baby wipes, sanitizer, pack and play sheets and umbrellas. ....
