VIENNA Two firefighters with the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department received awards for their outstanding service to their community.
“We believe this pat on the back of these individuals shows how dedicated they are,” said Vienna Fire Chief Steve Scholl. “…Both are very deserving individuals.”
The awards are chosen by a committee that consists of three chief officers, the former year recipient of the Firefighter of the Year award and this year the addition of the individual who came up with the idea for the new award. ....
