Most CT legislators still feel safe before Inauguration Day

U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D), was on the Senate floor Jan. 6, debating on the certification of the Arizona vote for the U.S. Presidential election when it was announced there was a security concern.
“Within a matter of minutes, we rushed off the Senate floor and to a private stairway, past windows where I saw a mob carrying baseball bats, pipes, Trump flags, Confederate flags,” Blumenthal said.

Norwich remembers Jason Vincent as champion who had no enemies

“You don’t find that in everyone,” Jones, an NCDC board member, said. “He was unique.”
From meetings and official actions to posts on social media, Vincent s recent death has left the community in mourning. Vincent, who had been active in the area for the better part of two decades, went missing since at least Dec. 30. A body matching his description was found in West Virginia earlier this week.
NCDC officially announced Vincent’s death Wednesday night.
“Our organization extends its deepest sympathies to his family and the many friends of Jason Vincent in the Community,” NCDC Chair Robert Buckley said. ....
