After passing several important bills on second or third reading and resolutions, Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri moved at 8:28 p.m. today for the Upper Chamber to go on recess.       
Zubiri asked officials and employees of the Senate to be careful of their health and steer clear from coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infection.        
He is one of the several senators who contracted the deadly virus.          
Senate President Vicente C. Sotto thanked his colleagues for praising his leadership. Senators of different political persuasions said Sotto treated them as equals.     
Sotto pointed out that there was no tyranny of the majority in the Senate.       ....
