As climate change ravages our country and our planet, from the 80 fires burning across 13 states, the biggest Bootleg Fire in my Home State, oregon, and flooding becoming ever more frequent, as well as destructive storms, we cannot ignore the fact that while we all feel its effects, the worst consequences of pollution and climate chaos disproportionately fall on communities of color.
