More than a year after the Shiv Sena split in 2022, the Uddhav Thackeray section still derives its powers from the grassroots, through its shakhas and the organisational outreach it gives. The other faction, led by Eknath Shinde is devoid of such an advantage and is hopeful of putting up a similar network.
