The sen on january 6th, the day that congress actually certified the election results. but nonetheless this is a significant development in the investigation and shows that jack smith is not slowing down but only ramping up this investigation. and of course pence is at the center of this inquiry, right? there have been reporting and we saw it through the january 6th select committee s investigation and those public hearings and also in pence s memoir himself, president trump is pressuring his vice president to block the certification of the election results to try to get him to join his side in the way that he saw the election results and election fraud had played out. obviously mike pence did not cave to that pressure. he ended up certifying the election results, and he s been critical of former president trump in the aftermath. of course now we look at this through a different lens because there s a lot of speculation mike pence will hop into the presidential race. and as we see on c ....
