We own Sempe Stool Lands at New Weija; SSNIT
The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has clarified issues on the ownership of the Sempe Stool Lands located at New Weija, a suburb of Accra.
According to the Trust, all necessary payments and documentations that makes one a rightful owner to land were made years ago, hence, they are the rightful owners of the Sempe Stool Lands.
This was contained in a release put out by the Trust yesterday.
The reaction stems from recent media discussions on the acquisition process of the Sempe Stool Lands at New Weija in Accra and ownership of the Light Industrial Estates, managed by the Ghana Industrial and Commercial Estate Limited (GICEL), a subsidiary of SSNIT. ....

'SSNIT Is The Lawful Owner Of Sempe Stool Lands' - GNAG Told | Social


 
The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has urged the public to disregard claims by the Ghana National Association of Garages (GNAG) that it owned the Sempe Stool Land located at New Weija in Accra.
The Trust said it was the lawful owner of the land and thus the Light Industrial Estates, managed by the Ghana Industrial and Commercial Estate Limited (GICEL), was a subsidiary of SSNIT.
The Trust, in a statement issued on Tuesday and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, said Government, per Executive Instrument (E.I.1) gazetted on 19th January, 1996 compulsorily acquired the Sempe Stool lands at New Weija, as a site for the Light Industrial Estates. ....
