MILLBURY Town Manager Sean Hendricks, a licensed attorney, received some pushback at a meeting last month from Selectman Christopher Naff, who objected to Hendrick’s request to earn extra cash by occasionally doing real estate closings in Connecticut.
At the March 9 selectmen’s meeting, Hendricks, a licensed attorney in Connecticut, said that for the past four months, while working as Millbury’s town manager, he haddone the occasional real estate closing mostly refinancing on nights and weekends in Connecticut.
“I don’t do many jobs (closings). And I’m not obligated to do any,’’ Hendricks said. ....
