Robert "Bob" Cloyes McCurry - The Dickinson Press | News, weather, sports from Dickinson North Dakota

Robert “Bob” C. McCurry passed away suddenly at Conroe Regional Medical Center on March 3, 2023, at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Evelyn Riddle McCurry, stepson Jared David Tees (Beth), his beloved dog Remy, and predeceased by son Seth Michael McCurry. Bob was born in Gatesville, Texas, on April 10, 1938, to Robert Earl McCurry and Rivas Parsons McCurry. He graduated from the University of Texas with an accounting degree and worked as a CPA for many years before moving to Galveston, where he owned and operated the Economy Liquor stores with his wife. Bob retired from the liquor industry and moved to Conroe, Texas. He was a Lions Club member and served on various boards and committees, including the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. He was also a member of Selective Services. Bob loved sports and played them for many years. He also loved his numerous dogs over the years. A private burial is planned. ....
