Longtime businessman Frank George, Sr., 89, of Palestine, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26. The Palestine High School graduate is well-known in the community and will be greatly missed. Some of my fondest memories of Frank are of him arriving at my office laden with a huge box of fresh tomatoes, said Jo Ellan Wally, a long-time friend of the George family.
