the planet, actually not so funny thing. we haven t been deluged to this point with gushing stories about joe, the bengals quarterback who beat the chiefs, or the pressure from the rams and front sevens in the nfl. the dominant headlines have been off the field and they aren t gushing. the nfl has a racial equity problem. in a class action lawsuit filed last week against the league and three of its teams. he s been fired as the miami dolphins coach and didn t get a fair shot at any of the other eight head coaching jobs filled the past few weeks. he says rules implemented, promises made, yet nothing has changed and he called the nfl, quote, in certain ways, racially segregated and quote, managed much like a plantation. the league s commissioner roger goodle admits there s a problem, saying the league s failure to add diversity to the head coaching ranks, indeed the numbers are stark. in a league in which 70% of the players are black and only two head coaches are black and five
Shooting happened in front of this house where the party took place. Two victims fell to the ground right here at the walkway. Police found two more victims hiding a few houses down at the end of the culdesac. A surveillance camera across the street shows the chaotic aftermath. Its dark, but you can hear a lot of people screaming, yelling. Showing a person in a white shirt running out to help the injured victims. That neighbor asked me not to release his first name. Hes looking out the window as i heard someone shot. I instantly grabbed one of my tourniquets. He found two injured teens on the ground. One boy shot in the upper body. The other shot in the leg in awe. And when i was applying that tourniquet focusing on breathing, he started to panic, trying to worry about everything thats going on. Hey, youve got to focus on controlling your breathing. Reporter as he was working on the boy shot in the leg and arm, he instructed other kids to help the teen who was shot in the upper body. T
Youre watching kron. 4 news at all. Now at 5 tragedy in the east bay, a fiery car crash kills a family of 4. We still dont know much but in the last half hour we have learned that 4 people were killed, 2 of them adults and 2 children based on the layout of the aftermath believed that speeding was involved. A situation not uncommon in this area. We know just one car was involved in the crash. Police say its some sort of electric vehicle, but they are not saying what make or model yet. The crash happened around 9 oclock last night at the area where foothill road switches from 2 lanes down to just one us just south of stone ridge drive the car veered off the road. It slammed into a light pole and then barreled into an oak tree. The tree and the ground around it are burned out.
