Investigators are still at the home securing property. Rescuers did get the victims out but unfortunately they did not make it. A tragic story from worchester. Two elderly victims killed in a house fire. The flames broke out around 8 00 sunday evening. Investigators believe they were smoldering for a while. Firefighters did what they could. It appears that the fire had a head start and was on the fake did undetected until we got the call. We immediately found two elderly mailin female and removed them male and female and removed them. Now, the 36yearold Tiffany Cherry was so overwhelmed with relief that she couldnt stand up. She had to sit down. The prosecution had asked that she be held on 250,000 cash bail. But after the judge heard her story from the defense attorney, the judge set the bail at just 250. Cherry triggered an amber alert saturday when pennsylvania Authorities Say she fled from a Pennsylvania Hospital to boston with her sick twomonthold son. Cherry was arrested at Childrens Hospital here in boston. Cherry said she came to boston because her family is here and she says she thought that her baby could get better care at Childrens Hospital. This is all completely blown out of proportion. The people were getting amber alerts at 2 00 in the morning on saturday morning. People were complaining to me about being awakened in the middle of the night for this amber alert.
