She was on the ward. she was lying in bed, she had her sister there, translating, and i went in and said to her, i ve got a stoma, just like you. and i lifted up my shirt and i showed her my stoma and her whole face she was like. gasps. and she was saying to the women in the ward, just like me! just like me! and they were going like this. and i was, like, sort of parading myself around, going, yeah, just like her! it was purejoy in herface. it was amazing. and now, she s come back this year. life is moving on positively, and that s always been the goal. sesita has now been returned to herfamily and is due to start training next year to learn to be a seamstress. so, we do get actually some bananas from here. our patients get a little bit of that also. and we want to continue ....
