Two COVID-related deaths reported in Huron and Perth counties Feb. 4 are connected to outbreaks at Caressant Care’s adjoined retirement and long-term care homes in Listowel, the region’s top public health doctor has confirmed.
Those outbreaks were declared Jan. 7 and Jan 10, respectively, and have since been linked to 15 deaths, making Caressant Care’s Listowel location the hardest hit congregate care facility in the region.
