SEABROOK – A Vermont man is back in custody in his home state after his arrest last week in Seabrook for allegedly coming to town to sell a stolen Tesla.
Michael Gonzalez, 31, of Burlington, Vermont, was arrested by Seabrook police on Monday, Jan. 18, charged with receiving stolen property, a 2019 Tesla X, which he is alleged to have “fraudulently obtained in July 2019 from a Tesla dealer in Mt. Kisco, New York,” according to the warrant for his arrest from U.S. Court for the District of Vermont for violating the terms of his release for a previous felony conviction.
