Bookmark it: The First Fortnight Festival kicks off on January 5 with two weeks of theatre, poetry, music and textile art on a range of topics related to mental health. The line-up includes Louisa Ní Éideáin’s Dopa-Mean Girl, a one-woman, cabaret-style show she wrote after receiving a late diagnosis of ADHD in 2022. Performed in both English and Irish, it is designed to “recreate the polyphony of a brain that must do at least two things at all times”. Neurodiverse people will relate; neurotypicals will leave with a better understanding. It runs from January 11-13 at the Boys’ School in Smock Alley, Temple Bar, Dublin 2; tickets from €15. firstfortnight.ie
