Me is various age gradients, like you young and old are voting for. This selection, it wasnt new but it is thrown into Light Something steadily bolding over the last few years. The one im Interested In is we got it into our heads over the last decades, with labour, if you are young you vote labour, if you are older you dont. Starting in 2019 and clear now is now, Pete Labour is 30 years old. If you are 30, you are as labour as can be, so its not a straight line. Younger men voted slightly differently, that is interesting. It is a different generation. We will pick up on them in a moment. Rob, give a big Picture Thought. My big Picture Thought is the Electoral System never mattered more than it did here, in terms of how it affected the behaviour of voters. When you look at the marginal seats, labour over performed where they were second. To the tories, and the Lib Dems over performance. Looking at the same suit, i the conservatives fell more nsa pursuit, but labour also fell. As a resul

Lets be clear, all this is too little too late. Also, what can the u. N. Do to help the growing humanitarian catastrophe in afghanistan . And in a stunning move, france recalls its ambassador to washington. Why . I will ask the former ambassador, gerard araud. Then Justice Clarence thomas said on thursday thAt The Supreme Court may not be the most dangerous branch of the u. S. Government. You, as well. Here we go. Im ayman mohyeldin. All right. So tonight, we begin with that assault on american democracy. Its both a physical assault but its also a legislative one thats playing out behind the scenes. Today, around 400 protestors rallied in washington, d. C. In support of the January 6th insurrectionists who engaged in that physical assault on the capitol. Now, it was less than the 700 or so expected by the department of homeland security. But the danger is not the protest, itself. Its the attempt to rewrite history, and what actually happened on that day and every day since. Lets remember exactly what that assault was about back on January 6th. Supporters of Formerpresident Donald Trump ransacked the capitol, and they did it with one clear objective. They wanted to stop congress certifying the election of joe biden. And they actually succeeded, if only for a few hours as, of course, everyone remembers. Congress had to be rushed to safety until security could be restored.
