Imperial County adds to real estate fund commitment

Imperial County Employees Retirement System, El Centro, Calif., made a follow-on commitment of $10 million to American Strategic Value Realty Fund.
The $925 million pension fund s board approved the follow-on commitment to the value-added, open-end real estate fund managed by American Realty Advisors at its Nov. 18 meeting, said Scott W. Jarvis, retirement administrator.
ICERS originally committed $35 million to American Strategic Value Realty Fund in 2017.
As of Sept. 30, the system s actual allocation to real estate was 10.6%; the target is 10%.
