TRADE unions and campaigners have written to the Scottish Transport Secretary questioning a lack of action on the reopening of an historic railway works in Glasgow, more than a year after its closure. STUC general secretary Roz Foyer and RMT and Unite representatives have signed an open letter to Michael Matheson expressing “disappointment and mounting concern” at the lack of progress on developing the St Rollox (Caley) works in Springburn.
