Crews battled the 50acre fire, which was killed by a lot of dry brush in the area. However crews were able to make great progress because of change in the weather pattern. Fire investigators say that 85 to 95 humidity with little wind helped them gain ground. That weather will help play a role overnight as crews are dealing with steep brush and vegetation.
