largest storm that i can imagine in the state s history. overnight, a frightening situation unfolds as people in boulder creek were forced to get off ground, debris and including cars were seen moving towards the area. it dissipated before reaching the outskirts of boulder county. also today, president obama approved a federal disaster request for the state. leanne gregg is in boulder and joins us live. it seems it will not end. the problem continuing to get worse by the minute in some areas i should say. reporter: that s right, the good news is the sun is out but the problems remain for a long time. up can see the cleanup already under way but look at the flooding. it continues, largely because of the runoff. the mountains and streams and rivers and creeks are all still swollen. it will take time for them to sub side. all around the denver metro area, flooded streets, bridges that have been washed out. lots of trouble areas and you mention the evacueeses, people ....
