two years to the day since china forced the city of wuhan and its ten million citizens into lockdown, we hear from a man evacuated from wuhan in the pandemic and we have a special report on how beijing is containing the virus. hello and welcome to bbc news. the government of tonga says it s facing a long programme of rebuilding and reconstruction just over a week after it was devastated by a volcanic eruption and a tsunami. foreign aid is arriving into tonga, but strict covid rules are hampering humanitarian efforts, as the local authorities try to keep the virus out of the country. tonga which is made up of a group of islands in the south pacific has recorded just one covid case throughout the pandemic. entire villages were destroyed in the tsunami and some are still without basic neccessities, like clean water. much of the relief effort for tonga is being coordinated in neighbouring fiji. our correspondent shaimaa khalil is in the fijian capital suva with this updat
