To mark the anniversary of the moon landings, i am here at the Science Museum in london to bring you five first person accounts of extraordinary moments in the exploration of space. Coming up, we hearfrom the commander of the mission that took the most famous photograph ever of our planet, we get a moving account of the challenger Space Shuttle disaster, and we find out more about laika, the soviet dog who became the first living creature in space. Now its time for a look at the weather with sarah keith lucas. Hello. We have got some pretty hot midsummers weather in the cards for you through the coming week. Its not going to be dry everywhere, but the heat and humidity are increasing, so lots of warm sunshine around. Some rain across the north west of the uk, and some wind as well over the next 2a hours or so. Middle of the week sees thundery downpours with all that heat and humidity around. Now, through the rest of this evening and overnight, we have got a bit of rain across Northern Ireland, scotland as well. A few showers possible for north west england into north wales, too. But further south and east, you should stay dry overnight, and temperatures staying in the mid teens. Our reporter ben king has the details. When drinkers gather at londons King Charles Pub this evening, there will be a new tax regime in place. Changes announced in March Come Into Effect today taxing stronger drinks more and weaker drinks less. At the same time, Alcohol Duties rise with inflation up by io. I . The result a complex series of changes. 12 sparkling wine will be i9p cheaper as higher rates for fizz are abolished. A can of pre mixed gin and tonic will be 5p cheaper. But a bottle of 12 still wine will rise 44p. A bottle of vodka up 76p and a bottle of 20 port up £1. 30. So among drinkers, there will be some winners and losers. But the wine and spirits industry, which sees many of its products hit with higher taxes, says customers will see higher prices and less choice. We have the biggest duty increase in almost 50 years at the same time as we have inflation rife and a cost of living crisis.
